Our lab RAs, Hyeonjin and Minyeong, presented their research posters at the undergraduate academic conference hosted by the Department of Psychology at Pusan National University (November 28, 2025).

Both of them received awards for their excellent work — Hyeonjin won the Top Award (대상), and Minyeong received the Excellence Award (우수상). We are very proud of their achievements and congratulate them!

Hyeonjin: “The moderating effect of social isolation on the relationship between duration of NEET experience and depression in young adults.”

Minyeong: “The impact of near-miss effects in probability-based game rewards on impulsive decision-making.”

Woojin Jung was selected for the 2025 PNU Future Talent Development Program.

Our lab member, Woojin, has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 PNU Future Talent Development Program (2025년도 PNU 미래인재양성사업), a prestigious grant offered by Pusan National University under the PNU-RENovation initiative to support outstanding young researchers.

Woojin’s project, “The Role of Partisanship and Attitude on Information Exposure and Political Behavior during Political Turmoil,” will analyze longitudinal data collected during major political events in Korea to explore how political identity shapes information exposure and political behaviors.

This achievement highlights our lab’s commitment to impactful research. Congratulations! :)

The lab held a spring retreat in Wondong, Yangsan.

To celebrate the onset of spring, our lab members went on a spring retreat to Wondong, Yangsan.

The retreat was a refreshing break, helping us recharge energy for our academic steps.

Haein Yeo presented an accessibility-focused project through PNU’s SODA 2.0 interdisciplinary program.

Our lab member, Haein Yeo, participated in the “SODA 2.0 Interdisciplinary Education Program,” hosted by the College of Social Sciences at PNU.

As part of the program, she carried out a team project titled “Improving Accessibility of Urban Rail Transit for People with Disabilities in Busan.” The project focused on addressing social issues through data preprocessing, analysis, and visualization.

Her team received the Excellence Award (우수상), and we are proud of her achievement.

Our lab held its annual year-end dinner, reflecting on 2024 and celebrating our achievements. It was inspiring to see many of last year’s resolutions fulfilled.

We shared fun and memorable stories with Professor Sul.

We sincerely hope that, just like in 2024, all our members remain healthy and achieve their goals in 2025.

Our lab had the year-end gathering to have a dinner.

We reflected on 2023 and shared our new year's resolutions to each other.

We sincerely hope that our members achieve their wishes and resolutions in the upcoming 2024.

The lab held a retreat in Busan for discussion, exchange, and time together outside the lab.

On October 27, 2023.

PSNL held a workshop in Busan, South Korea.

We started by taking a walk along the trekking course by "Igidae (이기대 수변공원)". We enjoyed informal discussions about our lab, research, and many other topics.

After that, We had a lunch together and finished our workshop by introducing each members' own research at the cafe.

It was a great time to share good ideas with each other.

All the members' research was interesting, and We're looking forward for them to be published in papers!

Mijin Kim received a master’s degree and an outstanding research achievement award.

Mijin have graduated and received a Master of Arts from the department of psychology, Pusan National University.

In addition, she was awarded the Outstanding research achievement award for graduate students!

She is ready to embark on the new journey in the working field.
