Woojin, Junho and Sunghyun have graduated and received a Master of Arts from the department of psychology, Pusan National University.
In addion, our new member, Mijin, also graduated and received a bachelor of Arts from department of psychology, Pusan National University.
Junho and Mijin will continue to further their learning and pursue their degrees (Junho-Ph.D, Mijin-MA) in our lab.
Woojin is getting ready to study abroad. He decided to pursue his academic career in the field of Organizational Behavior, and has submitted applications and is waiting for the results.
Sunghyun decided to start the next chapter of his life in the working field. More specifically, he is interested in working for cosmetic distribution industry, which has been his personal interests all his life.
We sincerely congratulate them on their graduation and hope everything works out for them! :)

PSNL members participated in the 2019 fall conference of Korean Social and Personality Psychological Association.
Junho and Woojin shared their research through an oral presentation .
The conference covered various topics in social psychology.
We were able to learn about ongoing researches conducted by fellow researchers all over the South Korea, Japan, and the world, and have productive discussion with them!

Hello~
This time, we want to share a blissful news from our lab.
Seungmin Lee, the Ph,D candidate in PSNL, got married on Nov. 17th.
Numerous guests, including her family and friends, members of PSNL, and other graduate students came and congratulated her marriage.
Our future cannot always be filled with happiness and joyful things. However, we believe that Seungmin and her husband will rely on each other and live happily after.
We wish this couple and their future the best :)
PSNL at the 5th Yeongnam Neuro-Cognitive Imaging Workshop (UNIST).

PSNL participated in the 5th Yeongnam Regional Neuro-Cognitive Imaging Workshop at UNIST.
At this workshop, Junho presented his research through a data blitz, as well as poster and received numerous feedbacks.
This workshop is where all neuroscience researchers in Yeongnam region gather and share their research through a presentation and discussion. We hope that such opportunities continue.
The number of neuro-cognitive researchers in Yeongnam regions are progressively incrementing!

The lab participated in the 2019 Korean Psychological Association annual conference and presented posters.

We participated in 2019 annual conference of Korean Psychological Association.
Like usual, our members participated in the poster presentation.
- Woojin Jung: “What makes minorities to speak out? Differentiating the effects of power and status.”
- Junho Bang: “Social value orientation modulates the effects of pleasure and meaning during charitable donation.”
Professor Sul was very busy in this conference, participating in various symposiums as both a host and a discussant.
The conference included variety of interesting topics, such as gambling, game addiction, and group decision making, etc. Through these presentations, we were able to expand our understanding of novel topics.
We can't wait to see what KPA will show us in 2020, and what we will be presenting there!

Great news! :)
On May 14th, our lab director, professor Sul has been awarded ‘Young Investigator Award’, presented by Pusan National University.
We believe the best is yet to come, for professor Sul and our lab!
The lab participated in the International Convention of Psychological Science in Paris.
Mar 7-9, 2019
PSNL members visited Paris, France, to participate the International Convention of Psychological Science(ICPS), which is hosted by APS. Numerous researches in diverse areas were introduced through symposias, posters, and keynotes. And they were all very interesting and innovative.
Also, Minhee, Seungmin, and Junho introduced their researches in poster sessions and communicated with other researchers from all over the world.
Participating the ICPS gave us the motivation to develop better researches and widened our perspective of how psychology can influence and change dimensions of society, including social, cognition, neuroscience, and etc.
We hope that someday, every one of us can introduce our own researches to audiences at the international conferences, like ICPS. :)

Seungmin Lee became the first student in the lab to receive a master’s degree.

Seungmin Lee has become the first student from our lab, to receive a masters degree.
On February 22, 2019, She has received a Master of Arts from the department of psychology, Pusan National University.
She will continue to pursue her education as a doctoral candidate in our lab.
We sincerely congratulate her on getting the degree and hope that she accomplishes a lot of great research! :)

PSNL–KBRI Host the 3rd Yeongnam Neuro-Cognitive Imaging Workshop in Busan.

PSNL and KBRI collaborated and held the '제 3회 영남권 뇌영상 연구자 워크샵(The 3rdYeongnam Regional Neuro-Cognitive Imaging Workshop.)' in Busan, South Korea.
The workshop involved the presentations and the poster session and through these schedules, we were able to look through researches from various fields.
All of us enjoyed sharing the knowledge and after workshop, we communicated with each other while having a dinner together.

Lab members participated in the 2018 Korean Psychological Association annual conference.
Aug 16 - 18, 2018
Our lab members have participated in 2018 Annual Conference of Korean Psychological Association. The main topic of the Conference was "AI and human". Besides the main topic, the conference provided great chances and opportunities for us to learn about various topics.
Seungmin and Junho presented their research through the poster. They received abundant feedbacks from other researchers, which were very helpful.
Overall, we were able learn and share our knowledge very much!
