The lab held a retreat in Busan for discussion, exchange, and time together outside the lab.
On October 27, 2023.
PSNL held a workshop in Busan, South Korea.
We started by taking a walk along the trekking course by "Igidae (이기대 수변공원)". We enjoyed informal discussions about our lab, research, and many other topics.
After that, We had a lunch together and finished our workshop by introducing each members' own research at the cafe.
It was a great time to share good ideas with each other.
All the members' research was interesting, and We're looking forward for them to be published in papers!

Our lab director, Professor Sul, and members participated in the 26th annual Meeting of the KSBNS(Korean Society for Brain and Neural Sciences).
Junho and Won-gyo shared their research in the poster session.
Professor Sul presented the research "Social brain, social preferences, and peer relationships of adolescents" in the symposium.
We had a chance to learn about the brain in the perspective of multiple disciplines, and share our knowledge of social neuroscience with scholars from various fields.

The lab held an analysis workshop in Busan with the Yonsei Social Networks and Neuroscience Lab.
on July 12~13, 2023.
Our lab and Yonsei Social Networks & Neuroscience lab(YSNNL) held Anlaysis Workshop in Busan, South Korea.
On the first day, Kiho Sung, a PhD candidate at YSNNL have introduced and demonstrated how to do Social Networking Analysis using the Pajek. Next day, Junho Bang, our lab member, introduced and demonstrated how to analyze fMRI data using the SPM12.
Both lecturers were very dexterous in sharing novel techniques to the audience, and all of us enjoyed sharing the knowledge and in a get-together time after the workshop.
We hope that opportunities like these would continue and expand in the future.

Prof. Sunhae Sul discussed the psychological mechanisms of school violence in the documentary Bystander.
In the school violence prevention campaign documentary <Bystander>, Professor Sul, our PI, explained the underlying psychological mechanisms of school violence.

Mijin Kim received a master’s degree and an outstanding research achievement award.
Mijin have graduated and received a Master of Arts from the department of psychology, Pusan National University.
In addition, she was awarded the Outstanding research achievement award for graduate students!
She is ready to embark on the new journey in the working field.
We sincerely congratulate her graduation and wish her all the best for her future endeavors! :)
